1. Using Hortiku
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping your credentials secure, and activity under your account. Contact hortiku.ai@gmail.com promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. Gardening and food-safety boundary
Hortiku provides educational gardening guidance, plant recommendations, and task-planning support. Recommendations and care guidance can be incomplete or wrong. Hortiku is not a substitute for a qualified agronomist, plant pathologist, pesticide label, local extension service, food-safety authority, medical professional, or emergency service. Always follow local law and product labels. Do not rely on Hortiku alone to decide whether food is safe to eat or a regulated treatment is appropriate.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid subscriptions are offered through Apple App Store and Google Play. The price, billing period, applicable taxes, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Unless cancelled before renewal, subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the app-store account used to purchase it. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally refund the current billing period, except where required by law or permitted by the relevant app store. Refund requests are handled under the app store's rules and applicable consumer law.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Hortiku only for lawful personal or internal business gardening purposes. You must not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, bypass usage limits, upload unlawful or harmful material, misuse automated outputs, or use Hortiku to harm people, property, ecosystems, or protected species.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of photos, notes, and other content you submit. You grant Hortiku a limited, worldwide licence to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You must have the right to submit your content and must not upload personal information about others without permission.
6. Hortiku content and intellectual property
Hortiku and its licensors own the service, branding, software, original design, and original content. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership or permit commercial redistribution of Hortiku content. Referenced third-party research remains owned by its respective publishers.
7. Third-party services
Hortiku may connect to app stores, weather services, source publications, and other third-party services. Their own terms and privacy notices apply. Hortiku is not responsible for third-party services outside its control, but this does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Service changes and termination
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Hortiku. For material changes to a paid service, we will provide notice and remedies where required by applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security risk, fraud, or legal requirements. You may stop using Hortiku and request account deletion at any time.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Hortiku is provided with reasonable care, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, plant survival, harvest yield, or that every recommendation is correct. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hortiku is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any consumer right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Before filing a formal claim, please contact hortiku.ai@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue. This section does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or the right to bring a claim in a forum available under applicable consumer law.
11. Changes and contact
